Hi Tom, Download the Application Compatibility toolkit from Microsoft. You can then use the compatibility administration tool to create a new app compat database, "create new application fix" for your application and select the NT4SP5 operating system mode (includes all NT 4 fixes) to your application. Skip the additional compatibility fixes but try the "test run" button. If everything works choose "select all" and finish. File > "SaveAs" and name the database something appropriate like c:\windows\apppatch\NT4_apps.sdb. You should now have an entry under custom databases called nt4_apps. Right click on that and select "install" to install the compatibility fix for that application. That should be it. regards, Rick Ulrich Mack Volante Systems ________________________________ From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx on behalf of Waller, Tom Sent: Thu 29/06/2006 10:22 To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Compatibility Mode Is there a way to Publish and App in NT4 mode. I have an old app that is installed on 2K3 and I can get it to run if I create a shortcut and then go to the properties of it and choose NT4 from the Compatiblity Tab. Are there any switches that can be added to the executable to accomplish this?
