Interesting. I wonder if it is a certain batch of these. I have several
g2's with MF and have not had a problem with the install.

If you have a DL360 G2 and are attempting to install Metaframe XP, you
will
need to disable the Integrated Lights Out board during the Metaframe XP
install, otherwise the systems will blue screen with the following:
STOP 0X000 PAGE FAULT IN NON PAGED AREA
Address EB3995B7 base at EB398000 CPQCIDRV.SYS
Compaq says that it can be reenabled without any problems after the
Metaframe XP installation, although I haven't tested it because I don't
use
it anyway. Your event log will get the following message:
