Try something along the lines of Net use lpt 2 \\printserver\printer /persistent:yes Nick -----Original Message----- From: Les DeFoor [mailto:ldefoor@xxxxxxxxx] Sent: 05 July 2005 22:21 To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Re: Client created printer in Quickbooks 2005 Thanks Steve, ICA isn't an option, we dumped it since we are not doing load balancing and other things that ICA provides. I did contact Intuit and they stated that QB 2005 has issues printing to a "NETWORK" printer. Although it will print directly to an IP Printer (network??) but not something that looks like a //share type printer, which is exactly what the client created printers look like. If there was a way to MAP a local printer to the //clientcreated printer, they said that should work. I don't know of a way to do that. OH, then I got the typical M$ answer - We know of the problem, we don't have a solution, but we are working towards a work around. Uh huh sure. ******************************************************** This Weeks Sponsor: Lakeside Software SysTrack is the easiest to use, most complete way to monitor system and application performance.
