Oh I don't doubt it - I'm just mildly intrigued with the problem, and a
possibility at solving it technically ;-)

Whether it's the most suitable solution, or not, I'm willing to ignore
at present, if I can find a way to technically get it to work ;-) I'm
willing to ignore true suitability for the time being, whilst there's
still a possibility of being able to easily code it.

Although, I can feel an analogy coming on... where profiles and terminal
servers are concerned - some people would prefer for the base registry
hive loaded to be correct - be it by modifying individual hives, or
configuring default hives. Having always worked with mandatory profiles
for terminal server users, I'm more concerned with the central, initial
hive being generically configured, and minimal, and then having a
mechanism to modify it at will. Although to be truly equitable, were
there to be redundant entries in the initial hive, I would be more
inclined to modify it at source, rather than delete entries dynamically
(and repeatedly).
