I would say that would be sensitive to how many sites, how many servers at each location, how your apps would be siloed, how your datastore would be done (surely an MS SQL or Oracle datastore?) and how your zones would be laid out. ________________________________ From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Beckett, William (Bill) Sent: Monday, June 19, 2006 12:32 PM To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Citrix traffic Hey guys, Just trying to get an idea of how much extra traffic will be generated if we go down the corporate followed path. Right now we have separate Citrix farms and separate domains. Their idea is to combine all sites, including ours, into one domain, one Citrix farm. If this happens and the farm resides at corporate, yet we have Citrix servers here in the remote site, how much extra traffic across the T1 would be generated with the Citrix boxes talking to each other, significant, moderate or minimal amount? We would be upgrading to their version of Citrix which is the latest, PS 4.0
