if you are using AD u can set a policy to delete local cache and restrict profile size. otherwise you can do a registry hack for the same. http://www.microsoft.com/resources/documentation/Windows/2000/server/reskit/ en-us/Default.asp?url=/resources/documentation/Windows/2000/server/reskit/en -us/regentry/91597.asp _____ From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of ABDO Abdulghani -TSDC Sent: Thursday, August 11, 2005 1:05 PM To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Citrix server roaming profiles consuming disk space! I have noticed that the disk space is very low on of our Citrix XP 1.0 server, although partition C size is 33 GB, the space left was less than 1 GB only. Our Citrix users are setup with roaming profiles, once they login, a folder is created in the [c:\document and settings folder\username] and once they logout the folder disappear, this is assuming that the user logoff gracefully not by crashing his session as some users do. I have noticed that the folder [C:\documents and settings] size balloned to over 13.8 GB, digging more I have found that few users roaming profile exceed 1 GB, actually one user profile was over 3.5 GB Is there is any way I could control this desk space and restrict users from inflating the size of their roaming profile. Doing a manual cleanup is time consuming and not practical solution. Any idea's are greatly appreciated. Abdul Abdo
