This is a new install right?

Check ODBC manager and ensure that the the IMADirectory in the System tab is
pointing to the IMALHC.mdb

Also go to the FILE tab Hit the up arrow until you get to the program files
directory select citrix then Indep Management arch... Directory and select
the imalhc.dsn and ensure that it is pointing to the correct place for the
imalhc.mdb.

I have seen thei when you remapp the server drives a lot

Well I thought it worked. It got passed the point where it asks for
authentication info. But now it is trying to start IMA service and it will
not start. Any ideas?

Its using SQL authentication. I followed the Citrix XP docs on how to create
a SQL database.

Thanks. It was defaulted to tcp/ip. I changed it to named pipes and it
worked.

Are you using named pipes or TCP/IP to connect to the SQL server? Also are
you using SQL authentication in ODBC manager and are you using Mixed
authentication on you r SQL server?

Subject: [THIN] Citrix install problem

Building up the first citrix server on our new 2000 domain. When doing the
install it asks for authentication information for sql database. I put in
the username and password that was created in the sql database. When I do
this I get the following error.

Connection failed:
SQLState: '28000'
SQL Server error: 18452
[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Login failed for user
'xpadmin'. Reason: not associated with a trusted SQL Server connection.

I loaded MDAC 2.7 on this windows 2000 server. Any have any ideas why it
would do this? Thanks,
