From what I saw when we were trailing eFax most of the config seems to be
held in ini files.  a while ago now but we did manage to get it to work
properly for individual users.  Probably still have some documentation
around somewhere for what we did to get it to work ...

Sounds like the reg entries for the app points there. Might want to do a
search of the keys for it and see if you can change it to something
generic like the user's Home drive letter

Any one got the Efax printing to work with Metaframe XP sp1?

Looks like the option screen for where to print (fax, email, etc) points
back to the Administrator login where it was installed (in install mode
of course).
