Just a comment on the gateway vs router discussion (ie not in particular
anything to do with CSG, per se) - a router is nearly always a gateway (with
caveats), but potentially a gateway isn't always a router.
The terms became almost synonymous in recent years, but to be completely
accurate, they are slightly distinct networking terms. Routing is about the
ability to decide where packets should go, a gateway is merely a connection
point - it's easy to see why these things are considered one and the same,
but to be completely accurate, there is the potential for a distinction.
