Hi Ron,
My scenario is users log on to a TS/Citrix server, and then run published apps
off other Citrix systems. I can guarantee that'll work for both 2000 and 2003
systems.
Haven't ever tried TS alone, but I can't see why it wouldn't work.
Having said that, I'll now have to check..

Rick - this is where I am stumped.. The ssonsvr.exe works fine on a PC, but on
a terminal server session it fails. A reply from the citrix forum pointed to
http://support.citrix.com/kb/entry!default.jspa?categoryID=118&entryID=4912&fromSearchPage=true
which when I read it, says that the ssonsvr.exe (as part of the PN client) will
not run on a 2000/2003 server (unless I totally got this mixed up in
understanding or reading).
I built two servers from scratch (2003 OS, MS TS only - no citrix on the login
box that 80% of the apps users run are there) - both fail to load the
ssonsvr.exe for any user on the TS login servers session while trying to access
the citrix box app. I am using PN 8.1.
Rick - is your setup similar where users login to a terminal server
(non-citrix) and access the citrix published apps from another? If so, I know
there is hope to pursuit this further.

Hi Ron,
That's a funny reaction considering the passthrough functionality is just about
a cornerstone of published applications in a pure TS environment.
Or I could be less diplomatic and say bullshit.
We're using passthrough authentication eg single signon service (ssonsvr) on a
bunch of 2003 sites and it works fine.
The only issues we've had were when upgrading to PNAgent 8.0 client which broke
the single signon service.

Ah...I did try the agent at first but had a problem were every user that
logged into the 2003 terminal server was prompted the PNAgent web
address. I am getting the feeling more & more that citrix does not like
working with a client that is a 2003 terminal server. I already got a
response from citrix NG that they do not support SSONSVR.exe on a server
by design.

For something like this to work, you would need Program Neighborhood
Agent on the client and server to client redirection setup.
