So while they are logged into a session you delete the auto created
LaserJet 4 printer from the server? Do you have them disconnect and
re-login, or does it just start working when you kill their printer?

I have his happen to a few of my users. It only happens to those who
have
autocreated HP LaserJet 4 set as their default printer. I found that if
I go
onto the server they are logged into and delete the printer than
everything
is ok for a week or two.

Subject: [THIN] Citrix Printing "X-File type" frustration

My servers are running Win2k SP3 | MF XP SP2 FR2 | Office 2000 SP3:

In the last couple weeks, I have not made any changes to the systems
regarding the OS, Office, or printing. One of the applications that we
use
a lot is TM1 (MS Excel with an Add-in). Four of my users (out of
~20) are getting the message "No printers installed..." when trying to
print
from this app (excel). If I publish MS Word for them, their printers
show
up there (at least most of them)! This is the only app that I have
heard
any complaints about. Any ideas? A couple of these users are getting
pretty frustrated, as am I.

Thanks,
Paul
