PNAgent definetly the way to go. Just install PNAgent on server and point to
Web Interface server and they get their icons. No mess no fuss. I learned
through pain of trying to maintain icons and shortcuts and APPSRV.INI, and
PN.INI......yada yada

Must be the profile. I guess one more reason to use PNA. I am
curious...what process would assign or change the farm ID in the pn.ini?
I would think the citrix server would have a single farm ID and the
agent would query that to confirm?

Could be an issue with corrupt profiles or shortcuts. User's credentials
are encrypted and stored in their profile along with their PN.INI and
APPSRV.INI files. This sometimes gets corrupted.

Odd problem - with a few users on the network, their PN.INI has a
different Farm ID thus causing our shortcuts to the published apps to
not work. We populate users terminal server desktops with icons to the
programs and the citrix shortcuts to published apps have the farm ID in
the command line and fail obviously when the pn.ini shows a different
farm id.

What would cause the farm ID to change?
