No, just make an ODBC connection to your SQL server. In the setup it should
ask for your SQL server information to supply your user name and password.
User account should have db_owner rights.

Actually, my question is:
I already have my datastore housed on a SQL server. When I try
to join the farm
with the Citrix 4 install, I put in the name of the SQL server
for the datastore
while creating the ODBC connection, just like XP. It comes back
and says either
it can't find the server or the server does not have Metaframe
XP insatlled....
Do I have to install Metaframe on the Citrix server, not the
other way round?

no, you don't need sql. i haven't seen that error yet.
