Hi Tom,
 
If you're running 2003 (not SP1) and you haven't installed KB826821 then
ctfmon can keep userinit from closing and leave the administrators
sessions in "install" mode.
 
This can make for some really interesting configuration changes for
users ;-)
 
Install KB826821 or upgrade to SP1.

I have 2 citrix servers.  at the console when I run Change user /query -
i get the message that both are in execute mode
 
When I log on to a session as myself ...an admin, I run the query again
and it says INSTALL mode.
 
Is this normal.....it just I have been having some issues with
