[THIN] Change Farm Problem

I am doing a change farm to bring an server from an Access based
datastore farm
to a SQL based. After choosing Join and Existing Farm and then next
past
the part where I configure the connection, I am getting DB Error -
Databas connection
canceled or failed. Then it rolls back to the original farm. Do I
need to creeate a File
DSN to the SQL server or what?
