From Citrix KB
Check Registry for WDICA key

1. Unable to telnet to port 1494. Connecting to servername. Could not open a
connection to host on port 1494: Connect failed.

2. NetStat -a does not show the server listening on port 1494.

3. A Microsoft RDP connection works.

4. Idle sessions are available and the ICA listener is created and enabled.

Reproducible Steps

1. Run regedt32.

2. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\WDICA.

3. Save the key.

4. Delete the key.

5. Reboot the server.

6. Make a custom ICA connection to the server IP address.

1. Run regedt32.

2. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services.

3. Create a key named WDICA.

4. Manually add the following values:

ErrorControl: REG_DWORD : 0

Start: REG_DWORD : 0x3

Type: REG_DWORD : 0x1

5. Reboot the server.

6. During the reboot of the server in step 5, a subkey named Enum will be
created with the following values.

0 : REG_SZ : Root\LEGACY_WDICA\0000

Count : REG_DWORD : 0x1

NextInstance : REG_DWORD : 0x1

7. Make a Custom ICA Connection to the servers IP address.

If the above steps do not resolve the issue, check for the existence of
subkeys. You may need to add permissions to this key in order to save and
restore the key from a working server. When this key is manually deleted and
the server is rebooted, the key should regenerate itself.

NOTE: The cause for the disappearance or corruption of these registry keys
is currently unknown

Subject: [THIN] Can't connect to a CTX server. The CTX server you have
selected is not accepting connections.

Hi group.

I have a bit of a problem with my test server and I believe I'm close but
still can't figure this out.

I have a 3 server's XPa farm (2 production servers and 1 test box). I just
updated it to a CTX FR2/SP2 on Wed. Today I can not connect to my test
server through the ICA connection to a server's desktop with the following
message: "Can not connect to a Citrix server. The Citrix server you have
selected is not accepting connections."

Here is the information I gathered so far:

I can connect to the server's desktop using RDP client.
Both ICA and RDP idle sessions are listening (seen from CMC)
I deleted and recreated ICA Connection in CTX Connection Manager
ICA connection permissions are same with 2 other servers
Recreated LHC
Restarted IMA
rebooted server
Everything looks good in CMC (I see load balancing counters, idle sessions,
logged on RDP users, etc.
All 3 servers have FR set to 2

That problem has nothing to do with CMC server properties setting "Enable
logons to this server" as if you disable logons you will at least see
server's Metaframe wallpaper and get an eror message "Remote logons are
currently disabled".

Can somebody point me into the right direction?
Other environment information: Win2000 SP2 on Citrix servers, Win2000 AD
domain, NT4 BDCs, clients are mostly PN ver.6.20.985

Any help is very appreciated as I have run out of ideas.
