What happens if you migrate a couple of the servers to a new farm based and
just use access as the database does that work? Maybe your SQL backend is
hosed?

ive already attempted a dscheck /full servers /clean option where it cleaned
2 dead servers from 2 weeks back, regardless the dsmaint verifylhc still
fails after a recreate... and the AMC still hangs / stalls on the removal of
servers or change of published apps properties....

so far with a SQL restore of the DB still doing the same thing I am of the
opinion it might be a farm database recreation???

Cheers

Hi James,

You should be able to use the DSCHECK utility to clean up inconsistent
records in the database. Version 6.26 is the latest version on Windows 2003
32-bit servers, and should be under the "C:\Program Files\Citrix\System32"
folder.

The command line options can be difficult to work out at times. Googling is
your friend, but try the /clean option first.

Cheers,

Jeremy.

List legends of infinity and beyond!

We have a brand new farm, of which recently i was unable to remove servers
from (if I right click the farm, and select remove, the MMC just hangs) and
then today I cannot select individual properties of the published
applications ...

Its a XA Farm with R04.... W2K3...

The SQL Server space filled up recently on the database drive (lame)

Could it be a FARM DB Issue where the DB has corrupted itself? Though not
noticeable until today (disk space error happened about 2 weeks ago, and of
course all backups are only 1 week - as its not even live yet)

dsmaint recreatelhc works but when verified comes up with "An unknown error
occurred while reading the entry table"

the database has been restored back a week only to contain the same errors
(even after after running dsmaint recreatelhc (success) then dsmaint
verifylhc (fail)

While i am in the process of creating another farm database (onluy 4
servers, so relatively easy process)

Does anyone have any other suggestions of what they would do in a similar
instance?

Cheers
James
