[THIN] Can I dual install Office XP and keep Office 2000 on the same server?

I have Access 97, the full Office 2000 suite and I need to install Excel XP.
On my first run through when I installed Excel XP in a different directory than
Office 2000, the install removed the entire Office 2000 suite.
Any tips or can't this be done?
