This article describes how to silently install hotfixes using InstallShiled
installation commands.
You can silently install hotfixes using InstallShield installation commands.
Follow these steps:
1. Execute the hotfix using the r command to create the Setup.iss answer file.
2. Run the hotfix executable (.exe) silently using both the s and r: commands.
For example:
C:\Hotfixes\Xe100w017\XE100W017.exe s r:C:\Hotfixes\Xe100w017\Setup.iss
Hotfixes can also be installed using the Hotfix.exe utility. For further
