I have seen issues with this as well. For best results when browsing to an
executable that contains the icon, browse to
the server on which you are currently running the Management Console. If I am
running the CMC on CTX01 and browse to the
executable on CTX02 the icon does not appear in the console but if I browse to
CTX01 it seems to work.

Other tricks that work include using reshacker to extract the icon and then
browse to the extracted icon assuming the
icon is on the same server on which you are running the Management Console.

Subject: [THIN] CMC Published application, do not pull the application icon.

Since going to MPS 3.0, applications with the specific app. Icon are fine,
unless I try to change the icon, or create
new published app. I get no icon when pointing to the EXE as I did in the
past, and can only choose from Citrix default
icons. This is within the CMC, that no icon appears when pointing to the EXE
to get the icon, as it worked with FR3.

What happened?
