Thanks Jim, I will give it a shot, and do some more searching in the archives. I saw that reference to a SMonitor app, I will let you know if I am succesful. Install the demo and see if it works for you. I bet it does. There are also scripts in the archives that people have contributed about this issue. Unfortunately, while my COM port is off, the ICA Dialin session associated with it is stll listed as "Listening", not "Down" I wish this were the case, for it would seem that watchdog would be my answer! What I need is something that would reset all of my listening sessions at some kind of interval, like 1 minute, or 2 minutes, etc... Maybe you have something else up your sleeve? The only product out there. We have been using it for years! I highly recommend it. http://www.99point9.com/public/products/products.asp?PID=#EOLWATCH Regards, Jim Kenzig http://thethin.net -----Original Message----- From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of White, Collin Sent: Thursday, September 26, 2002 10:15 PM To: 'thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx' Subject: [THIN] Automatically reset "Listening" Sessions in MFXP Is there a way to automatically reset listening sessions? My problem is that I have 18 ICA Dialin listening sessions going, and when someone dials in and then gets disconnected, the COM port gets shut off, the only way to turn it back on is to reset the corresponding ICA Dialin listening session that corresponds to that COM port. Is there a script out there, or has anyone run into this before. I normally don't see too many Dial In questions, but I figured I would give it a shot. We are Dial in shop and this is pretty annoying to do manually.
