Hi Tom, The first to try is to use printcfg within the Citrix session from that PC. It will show you one of 2 scenarios, either you'll see the client printer(s), disconnected or connected, OR you'll only see lpt1/lpt2. That'll tell you whether or not client printer redirection is working on the client machine. If all you see is lpt1/lpt, one unlikely possibility is that despite uninstalling and reinstalling the ICA client, the user's %userprofile%\application data\icaclient\appsrv.ini is retained, and a CPMAllowed=no entry would ensure that client printing didn't happen regardless. LPT port redirection, if disabled, will also prevent client printer mapping. Anyway, have a look at what printcfg shows you and we can go from there. regards, Rick Ulrich Mack Volante Systems ________________________________ From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx on behalf of Tom Flanagan Sent: Mon 14/11/2005 5:45 PM To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Auto created printers <http://www.doricgroup.com.au> <http://www.doricgroup.com.au> 1st Floor, 420 Hay Street Subiaco WA 6008 phone : 61 8 9388 2655 fax : 61 8 9388 1484 web : www.doricgroup.com.au Hi Folks Setup : Citrix client XPP Client ( 9.00) connecting via web interface 3.0 to PS3.0 on W2k3 SP1 I have one client machine...so far... that wont connect client printers. The Enviroment Tab in AD has all users connecting Client Printers at Logon....the Default to main client printer is selected. The Inherit User Config is set in the Citrix Connection Configuration applet. I don't have this problem with any other client machine. What ever user logs on to this machine via WI3.0 they don;t get the client printers appearing in their citrix session. I can log the user on via another PC and he will get the client printer of that machine. This was working 3 days ago for this client. I loaded Windows 2003 SP1 onto the citrix servers the night before but no tother client have been affected. The DUD PC had and older client installed than v7.00 xxx. I uninstalled this and load v9.00xxxx client. This did not rectify the problem. Some tell me the problem is on the client. Any Suggestions to what I could do.
