For instance, a program that did not run itself as a background process
and needed to be launched. While such programs exist to work around this
limitation, it does not work on all applications... sad, but true.
Eg: MAS 200 Host.

To answer your question, the easiest way to do this is to Download
TweakUI and install it. It gives you a little icon in your Control Panel
to configure the autologin settings.

Why in the world would you need auto login?
It is a serious violation of security best practices.
I can't think of any situation where this type of solution would be
acceptable...
