Use a GPO on an OU that contains only Terminal Servers. Turn on the "Group Policy loobpack processing mode" in \Computer Config\Admin Templates\System\Group Policy. Enable it, and read the description for the mode you want. I usually use Merge. Any user that logs into a machine in this OU (TS) will have settings applied. If the user logs in somewhere else (their workstation) the policy will not apply. GPOs can have both Machine & User policies configured. GPO are User or Machine specific. If you apply a user policy for one of your OU, only users object will have this policy applied, not machine. __________________________________________________________ Marc-André Lapierre Consultant Systems & Infrastructures 514 977-6170 Email : malapierre@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx -----Original Message----- From: Jonathan.Carr@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:Jonathan.Carr@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: 24 août, 2004 13:25 To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Applying Policy to TS 2003 Hi All, I'm having trouble applying a Group Policy to a Server 2003 machine. I can apply a policy to any users within an OU which works fine. However I need to apply the same policy to anyone who logs onto said Terminal Server regardless of what OU they are in. Having read some literature on the web, the easiest way I can see is add the server to an OU and apply a GPO link to that OU. However that doesn't seem to work, I can also add a user to the same OU and it will pick up the policy fine. Can anyone help? Cheers, Jon...... ******************************************************** This Weeks Sponsor RTO Software Do you know which applications are abusing your CPU and memory?
