[THIN] Re: Application will only run on console on a Dell server

This is a long shot, but if it's purely a function of CPU, there are some 
utilities out there designed to bog down the CPU of x86 systems so you can 
play old DOS games on them (otherwise, they run too quickly). Or you might 
try underclocking.

Neither is a good permanent solution, but it would help narrow things down.
