Most likely, the only mistake you made was logging onto the console as the
local administrator. You can fix it by logging onto the console again as a
domain administrator.

Or you can hack the registry at HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows
NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon. Change DefaultDomainName to your domain.

Subject: [THIN] Application tries to log on locally instead of logging on
into AD (MF XPe)
Importance: High

Fellows,

When the user tries to access some applications in our farm using the web
interface, na error is shown, followed by the Windows 2000 Server login
dialog box. After clicking the "Options" button on that dialog box, we
realized that the session is trying to log the user on locally on that
server instead of logging on into the AD domain. We are using Metaframe XPe
with Feature Release 2 and SP3, over Windows 2000 with SP3.

Do anybody know how to solve that problem? is it a bug? Is there a patch for
that? Did we make any mistake during server servers´ configuration?

Thank you very much!

Best Regards,
