Hi Mark,

Best bet is to download the the latest Windows Server 2003 resource kit.
Amongst a bunch of other neat utilities is one called pathman.exe which
adds/removes paths to the exisitng system or user path.

Eg

USAGE: pathman /switch "additional path"

 /as path[;path[;path ...]]
Adds the semicolon-separated paths to the system path.

 /au path[;path[;path ...]]
Adds the semicolon-separated paths to the user path.

 /rs path[;path[;path ...]]
Removes the semicolon-separated paths from the system path.

 /ru path[;path[;path ...]]
Removes the semicolon-separated paths from the user path.

Should do what you want.

Rick

Subject: [THIN] Appending registry settings via script

Does anyone know how to append changes to a registry key via a script. I
want to modify the PATH settings with some new dirs without blowing what is
there away.

Thanks in advance
