For your user count, a $650 WG SOHO 6|TC 50 user should do the job. I haven't set one up to hit checkpoint, but they have documents on their website on how to do it. It works fine with my pix. -----Original Message----- From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Zachary Neria Sent: Thursday, September 12, 2002 2:05 PM To: 'thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx' Subject: [THIN] Re: Anyone use a thin client through a VPN? Thanks for the ideas. I hope to start testing them this next week. Yeah for some reason my Cisco router in Mexicali is having trouble with the point-to-point VPN. I was hoping it would be that easy LOL =) Thanks again. Yeah, you should be able to do site to site easily. Just about any small firewall appliance can vpn to your checkpoint box.=20 Roger Riggins, A+ MCSE CCNA CCA ACES Systems Engineer * 319-352-1234 * roger@xxxxxxxxxxxx =20 -----Original Message----- From: Alexander Danilychev [mailto:teknica@xxxxxxxxxxx]=20 Sent: Wednesday, September 11, 2002 8:12 PM To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Re: Anyone use a thin client through a VPN? Hi Zachary, One solution is to get point-to-point VPN, so VPN client is not required. Another solution - build a local MetaFrame box (keep it for a month) and use=20 it as a pass-through for your CE clients to your "production" MetaFrame. Install VPN client on this "pass-through" box.
