Are there any files in there that have extremely long names?
I had this problem when one of my users kept using the default file name
and adding today's date to the end every time he saved it.

I have the same problem with one folder on an NT4 file server.  I am a
local admin, domain admin, and folder owner, but I can not access it.
All
of my security folk have failed to.  Something with NTFS just done gone
bad
for this one folder....

Are you sure you have local administrators equivalency on the box
running
the filesystem?
