Thanks for that. So do I take it that windows 9x clients logging onto the NT4 domain with no AD client will not be able to use Exchange 2000? -----Original Message----- From: Magnus [mailto:magnus@xxxxxxxx] Sent: 30 May 2003 14:09 To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Re: Another OT Exchange question. Seems to be flavour of the month ;-) Yes so long as you are using the AD client for NT (so that you can authenticate to AD) which you will need to install any way if you are running Native mode with NT 4 member servers=20 -----Original Message----- From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On = Behalf Of Angus Macdonald Sent: Friday, May 30, 2003 5:35 AM To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Another OT Exchange question. Seems to be flavour of the month ;-) We are a mixed NT4 / AD organisation, with Exchange 5.5. We are phasing = the NT4 side out but will probably still have it for another year or so. Unfortunately we now have a need to upgrade to Exchange 2000. The simple question is, will Exchange 2000 service NT4 users in a mixed = environment?
