Thanks for that. So do I take it that windows 9x clients logging onto the
NT4 domain with no AD client will not be able to use Exchange 2000?

Yes so long as you are using the AD client for NT (so that you can
authenticate to AD) which you will need to install any way if you are
running Native mode with NT 4 member servers=20

We are a mixed NT4 / AD organisation, with Exchange 5.5. We are phasing =
the
NT4 side out but will probably still have it for another year or so.
Unfortunately we now have a need to upgrade to Exchange 2000. The simple
question is, will Exchange 2000 service NT4 users in a mixed =
environment?
