[THIN] Advice

Just looking for some advice from the illustrious list. Currently have an NT
domain with (2) W2K terminal Servers running MF 1.8 on top. Also existing is a
2000 domain with nothing in it other than two DC's right now. I'm planning on
moving one of the 2K terminal servers over in to the new domain but I'd like to
upgrade it to Metaframe XP. Will 1.8 and XP flavors co-exist? Is the only
caveat that they need to be in separate farms? I'd like to just upgrade both
boxes but money is a constraint.
