I've read posts from people that state that scheduling acrotray.exe to start
as a service
does not work. An Admin needs to be logged in at the console. Correct me
if I'm wrong.

Steve

Check out the archives as there is a couple of posts which answer the
issues another user had with distiller. From memory they used task
scheduler to start the distiller at boot up and he didn't have any
problems since. Adobe do state that you need to an "administrator"
logged into the CTX server (ie console) to run distiller. I found at
least two white papers which outline the install instructions for
acrobat professional 6.0. It seams that the CTX user community is
starting to get a voice in Adobeland.
