[THIN] Re: Admitting applications to Citrix

We created a simple document that describes the current setup we run
(OS, Apps, Service Pack Level)
and also contains a few tick boxes (runs with User Rights, does not
write to %Programfiles% or %SystemRoot%, has "designed for Windows XP"
logo (which covers most of the issues), supports terminal servers, etc).
This doc is part of the Request for Proposals process and handed out to
vendors.

The sad fact is, that even tough a product does not meet the technical
requirements we set, it still gets bought and we have to deal with it.
Either because vendors promise support in the future or from the
business point of view there is no alternative to a certain application.

All in all it's a constant source of pain and frustration :-(

Regards,
Daniel
