UPD seems to fix this as well...using 9.0 client and PS 4.0 UPD. Why do some printers create as the "Citrix Universal Print driver", and others as the old form where it give them the Color LaserJet 4500 driver? _____ From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Dogers Sent: Monday, September 26, 2005 10:37 AM To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Re: Additional Paper Trays Yep, they're network printers to the Citrix server. We do use full desktops though, but that shouldnt matter for the printers. We have file/print server handle the Citrix server requests, setting the trays there brought them through just fine for everyone on Citrix.. The issue is, when they connect to a published app., the additional paper trays are not "installed". We are using the HP drivers. Just downloaded and installed the latest LJ8000 PCL 5e from HP. Set the additional paper trays (2X500 Trays 4 and 5). Connected to Citrix PS 4.0 Hotfix 2 and 3, W2K3, and the printer creates, driver is right, but I go to additional inputs and the additional trays are not turned on. I can enable them from a desktop session, but users do not get that, they use published applications. How do I get it to use the additional trays I have told it to, within Citrix? ??
