Our app uses ODBC, we add an entry under system DSN, which propagates to the
HKLM hive, and all users get access to the entry.
after you've added an entry in the system DSN look under
HKLM\Software\ODBC\ODBC.INI\Datasources to see if it has been added there.

good luck

Onderwerp: [THIN] Adding ODBC data sources in MPS4

Hi

Need to add SQL ODBC data source (to our Navision SQL Server) for all users
in MPS4 for each server in our farm.

However, adding either a User or System DSN (with or without change user
/install) when logged in as administrator does not populate the data sources
that users see. In fact, it only seems to be local to the current user, i.e.
administrator.

Can't seem to find Citrix app notes for this and trawling the web doesn't
come up with much.

There must be many Citrix installations out there that use ODBC data
sources, so I'm surprised to see the lack of info about this.

This seemed to work ok in Metaframe XP .

Thanks in advance.

Regards

Neal
