Doesn't seem to be that easy. Even if I connect as the user (set as local admin), and install the active X, once I remove him/her from the local admins, it quits working. -----Original Message----- From: Paul DeHaan [mailto:wppad@xxxxxxxxx] Sent: Friday, May 21, 2004 1:02 PM To: CMSchneider@xxxxxxxxx; thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Re: Active X One of the beauties of a default mandatory profile. Log in as admin, = register the dll or ocx, log out, copy the needed files to default = profile...done. :) Paul >>> CMSchneider@xxxxxxxxx 05/21/04 10:56AM >>> We have a web based reporting app., which requires the user install an active X component to run it. Of course, the users would need to be local admins, to install it, and therefore, it is not working. I am getting grief about how "see, Citrix can't do it!", but let's face = it, I am not going to give users local admin rights on the servers. Any way I can install Active X components in install mode to get rid of this issue? Chad M.
