I keep seeing messages about Acrobat 5 and Distiller which makes me think I'm the only one who cannot get Distiller 5.0 to work. _________________________________ Hector Minero NSWCDD Code K55 Ph: (540)653-8859 Fax:(540)653-8575 -----Original Message----- From: Jonathan Kadoo [mailto:jkadoo@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Tuesday, July 22, 2003 12:07 PM To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Re: Acrobat and Acrobat Reader on the same TS? In our environment we have a similar situation. What we did was install the full product on our servers and just limit access to Distiller (which is required to create pdf's) to only those users we have full licenses for. Hello! Is it possible to install both Acrobat 5 (full version) and Acrobat Reader (5.x) on the same terminal server? We have a few users who want to use the full Acrobat package, the majority only needs the free Acrobat Reader and we don't want to buy 100 Acrobat licenses just for 2 or 3 users who really use it. If I install Reader *before* the full Acrobat version, all users get Acrobat instead of Reader if they click on a PDF file. If I try to install Reader *after* the full Acrobat version, the installer issues a warning and doesn't install Reader at all. Any suggestions?
