Seems odd it would not self sign a cert, in my opinion.

 

I will contact someplace like GeoTrust for a simply SSL Certificate then?

CAG does not act as a Certificate Authority, but you can use a Windows
server to act in that role and generate the request from the CAG. We
recommend using a commercial authority service instead- the price has
dropped below $50 and is well worth it.
