Hi,
The Icon positions are saved somewhere in HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell
When adding this line to the FlexProfiles ini file, the positions at least seem
to be saved.

Hi,
I've been theough this exercise with flex profiles, and nearly gave up until
I cam across a freeware utility called Iconsaver. Saves and restores desktop
icons, and their positions.
I can't remember the download location anymore, but author is listed in the
readme.txt, eg.

Try adding the following key to your flex profile save. And see if it works.
I havn't verified it but I think this is the key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Streams
