The WMI functionality that Scriptomatic, for instance, relies on was
released for Windows 2000 SP2, so you should be able to write WMI
scripts that run on Windows 2000 hosts and Windows 2000 Active
DIrectory. I may be wrong, though. If it's a VBS issue, you can always
do it in Perl.

        He wants it for W2k,  the vbscripts will only work for w2k3
unless you can find a third-party .dll that will access those objects
for you.

        Write your own. It's moderately easy with WMI and Scriptomatic (
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/scriptcenter/tools/wmimatic.mspx ). If
you know Kixtart or VBS, you can do it with those tools also....
