There are two updates for the AG Full iso which is the erase 660Mb approx. Upgrade which updates your existing settings with having to restore a saved config. 99Mb approx. AAC is installed on a Windows based server.Typically in your secured network. Chuck it on a Virtual Machine. (I also have heard/read-but havent got it working yet myself-that you can put the AG on a VM using Vmware WS 5.5) Regards ----- Original Message ----- From: Matthew Shrewsbury To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Friday, December 09, 2005 5:44 PM Subject: [THIN] Re: AAC on AG 4.2 I didn't have many settings set yet but it kept them all. I did the upgrade option and it seemed totally painless. When the AG first arrived it didn't have 4.2 so I waited and just downloaded it yesterday. I was told and from reading expected the AAC to be integrated in the AG but when I look at the options it asks for an AAC server. What does this mean? Does the AAC have to be installed on a server separate from the AG? Where do I get AAC from? I was told AAC can be licensed and run with AG without the SAS. Can someone please explain what I am doing wrong or not understanding correctly?
