We ran into that same problem when we upgraded a client's NT 4 domain to
Windows 2000 Active Directory. The only thing we were able to do was to
implement GPO's. We just couldn't get the NT 4 POL files to work
anymore. One more thing, if you do create GPO's, check to see if this
reg key exists on your Windows 2000 TS servers:

HKLM\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\System. This System key is
supposed to be there with a value called "UserPolicyMode" (REG_DWORD)
with a value of 0x2 specified. Make sure that this exists, so you don't
run around pulling your hair out wondering why your GPO's will not
apply. BTW, the SP level of the TS servers are at SP2 for Windows 2000.
Haven't looked at SP3 servers yet.

Chris

We just upgraded our domain to a 2000 domain and now the W2K Terminal
servers do not load the .pol file and more that is setup. The NT4
Terminal servers are fine.

Does anybody have and clue as too what could be wrong?
