[THIN] Re: 0x00000050 BSOD's?

I would discount the Compaq driver updates from this because we have many
servers running the 5.40a version of the SmartStart provided drivers with no
problem. Not an answer I know but at least somewhere not to look.

Regards,

Mike

Hi,

We're suffering from spontaneous BSOD's.

Last week we had 4 servers crashing during work hours.
Until recently the BSOD's occurred after work hours when few people
where working.

Our servers are Compaq DL 360 G2's with dual CPU's, 1Gbit nic and 2gb of
memory.

Recent software changes are:

- MSInstaller 2.0
- Citrix XP FP2/SP2
- Compaq SmartStart driver upgrade (5.30 to 5.40a)

The only constant in the BSOD's is the 0x50 error code, the code between
the () Changes with each BSOD.

Any tips or hints?

Bye,

Dennis van Turnhout
