To be focused is a wonderful thing. You get your learning and work
done faster with fewer frustrations. Great!
But… there can also be a huge problem with being focused. Be careful
that you do not focus so much that you lose your peripheral vision.
It is not uncommon for a very focused person not to see the people
around him. He ends up ignoring their needs. It is not that he is purposely
being rude… he barely even knows that they are there… but in the end, his
focusing causes him to lose more than he gained.
My advice: Having your head in Heaven is great, as long as your feet
are on the ground.
