Last year, November 5th to 7th, I, together with Jon (whom I play with)
arranged a work shop on Interactive Composition called Composing,
Programming, Performing. We had Dr. Mark Polishook to conduct and
lecture for 3 full days. We did have another lecturer too, an
operasinger and performer, Kirsten Sondergaard. Cliff attended the work
shop and stayed at my apartment from 4th to 8th of November.

I did, however, meet Dr. Mark Polishook prior to the work shop. He was
at the local library with his Robots-In-Residence for 3 full weeks. And
when I noticed has was using max and sc I simply couldn't help myself
and began talking with him about his patch. He was very kind and showed
me the patch, explained how it worked and we talked for some time. Jon
and I was already arranging a work shop on Genetic Mutation Algolrithms
In Music, with Kim Cascone, but decided to make the Interactiv
Composition work shop with Dr. Mark Polishook. So I went to the library
and asked him. And it went from there.

We are in the midst of arranging a Linux / Pd workshop now. My younger
brother will do the Linux lecture. He is really a talented programmer,
and a security expert. My brother has one issue though (which I find
cool) - He believes in cyber-anarchy, which actually means that he
believes that all information should be accessible for anyone, at no
cost. He also plays classical guitar and is just learning max and pd.

I must admit, I share his opnions toward 'Thee Endless Stream Ov
Information', but I am no longer taking action to pursue this. I do
consider it as art. That's another discussion on another list :)

Kind regards,
