All,

Tad and I have spent some time birding at the NABA butterfly center in
Mission that last two days and we've found some pretty good warblers. On
the 25th we found a Prairie Warbler and a Tropical Parula and today we
found a Blackburnian. Also present are lots of Orange-crowns, several
Nashvilles, and a Black-and-white. Who knows what else is there? The
warblers have been about midway down the trail that goes from the visitor
center to the back of the property and that runs along the ditch. Also the
Eastern Screech-Owl was sitting halfway out of the box yesterday. I did not
check on it today. There is a Black Phoebe hanging around too.
