Many hundreds if not thousands of Franklin's Gulls going over this
afternoon, heard many flocks going over....... 2-300 raptors of various
species. Dickcissels ....Was taking some plant photos at the water on
Earhardt Rd. and flushed a Bittern that was literally just yards from the
road on the west side, there may be Least Grebes there too as I caught a
glimpse of one that ducked underwater and disappeared for good but can not
rule out a Pied -billed.. The man Orchard Oriole was in the hackberries
again this spring singing his heart out.....That's it on the bird end of
things.....But for sure not the favorite of finds :-)
