Just wanted to thank Mel, Jon and Larry for the up-dates they provided last
week. Those of us who live in the north have a long
drive and the information they provided was priceless. Because of Texbirds and
coastal bend birders, my trip was a success.
The Surfbird was a neat bird and one that had not found it's way onto my Texas
list before last Saturday. The condition of the
jetty, the guard rails, and concrete sidewalks, makes the $12.00 parking fee
very worth while. Money going where is should!
