The City of Sunset Valley has mowed much of their Bastard Cabbage weed so finding the birds is a little easier. Still there is a lot of growth obscuring the view. Down in the deep grass south of the berm this morning was a male painted bunting. I thought I caught a glimpse of blue so might have been an indigo there also. Heard a Yellow-breasted chat. They were mowing again this morning so I didn’t walk far.
