Hi everyone,

I haven't' had a chance to bird in the park yet this today, 4/19/12, but 
someone listed the following birds this morning:   

Eastern Screech Owl - 1
Chimney Swifts 
Empid. sp. - 1 
White-eyed Vireo - 1 
Yellow-throated Vireo - 1
Canada Warbler - 2 
Hooded Warbler - 1m
Worm-eating Warbler - 1
Common Yellowthroat - 1m 
Summer Tanager - 1f
Rose-breasted Grosbeak - m&f

Yesterday,(4/18/12) we had a great Lunch with the Birds walk! Here is what we 
saw: 

Cooper's Hawk - 1
Broad-winged Hawk - 1 overhead 
Eastern Screech Owl - 1
Chimney Swifts - 7 overhead 
Eastern Wood-Pewee - 1 
White-eyed Vireo - 1 
Red-eyed Vireo - 1 
Purple Martins - overhead
Wood Thrush -1
Swainson's Thrush -1 
American Robin - 1
Gray Catbird - 1
Cedar Waxwings - ab 8 
Blue-winged Warbler - 3
Tennessee Warbler - 1
Northern Parula - 2 
Black & white Warbler - 1
Black-throated Green Warbler - 1m 
Hooded Warbler - 1m 
Northern Waterthrush - 1 
Common Yellowthroat - 1m 
American Redstart - 1m
Summer Tanager - 3f 
Scarlet Tanager - 1m 
Rose-breasted Grosbeak - 2m & 1f 
Bronzed Cowbird - 1m

Later in the day we added: 
Acadian Flycatcher - 1 (calling) 
Yellow-throated Vireo - 1

Join our free Lunch with the Birds Walks starting at noon on Wednesdays through 
May 9th and our Early Evening Birdwalks Tuesdays at 6pm through May 1st. 

Russ Pitman Park is located at 7112 Newcastle between Bellaire Blvd and 
Evergreen St just inside Loop 610 in Bellaire TX.
